TOXIC MAGAZIN
TOXIC is an editorial magazine we developed to make visible the often invisible systems behind our consumption. At its center are not only foods, but also the structures and mechanisms that shape what we see, buy, and take for granted every day. Topics like additives, microplastics, and endocrine disruptors form the editorial framework. They are complex subjects that tend to stay abstract in everyday life.

Concept
The project began with the observation that many of the systems shaping our consumption remain invisible in everyday life. The goal was to make these structures visible and to translate complex content into a form that is accessible and at the same time invites further thought.

Approach
Rather than oversimplifying content, we developed a visual system that structures information and makes it accessible step by step. Design here doesn't just communicate. It directs attention, creates orientation, and builds connections that unfold over the course of the magazine.

Result
The result is a magazine that closely interweaves information and design. It doesn't just convey content. It changes how content is perceived, laying the ground for a more conscious understanding of consumption.
